ABOUT ME

I was born in Pamplona-Iruña, (Navarra) Spain. Before entering the audiovisual industry, I spent many years working as a creative interior designer and airbrushing specialist. My passion for visual storytelling eventually led me to specialize in digital animation, CGI, and visual effects.

After working as a digital artist and contributing to set design for several film productions, I continued my education in Computer Generated Imagery (CGI) in Madrid. During this period, I was responsible for editing the short film Searching for the Polar Decline and creating all of its digital visual effects.

I later joined a creative team dedicated to developing digital content for museums and multimedia exhibitions, where I directed several successful audiovisual productions. This experience led me to oversee visual effects and digital archaeological reconstructions for museums throughout the Basque Country, including the Oiasso Roman Museum in Irun and the Lenbur Foundation's Museum of Pre-industrialization in Legazpi.

As a freelance artist, I collaborated with Javier Longobardo on the production of 3D music videos for bands such as Ladytron, The Planets, and Múm.

One of my most significant personal projects was the animated short film Gernika, created in collaboration with painter J. L. Zumeta. Premiering in 2012 during the 75th anniversary of the bombing of Gernika at the Victoria Eugenia Theatre, as part of the 10th Human Rights Film Festival in Donostia–San Sebastián, the film was selected by numerous international festivals and received several awards, including Best Film on Disarmament at Um Film per la Pace (Italy) and Best Basque Short Film at the Cortada Festival in Vitoria-Gasteiz.

Following the film's success, I produced the exhibition From Canvas to Display, an immersive look at the creative process behind Gernika, which attracted more than 4,000 visitors in Donostia–San Sebastián.

Today, I combine my work as a freelance visual effects artist with the creation and direction of large-scale videomapping projects. One of the milestones in this field was producing and directing the videomapping projected onto the façade of the Mirador at Olite Castle for the opening ceremony of the 2014 Classical Theatre Festival, commissioned by the Government of Navarra.

Throughout my career, I have participated in numerous international film festivals and had the honor of serving as a jury member at CINANIMA International Animation Festival, one of the world's oldest and most prestigious animation festivals, recognized as an Academy Awards® qualifying event.

In recent years, I have directed and produced numerous videomapping projects across Spain while collaborating with creative studios and international teams on large-scale immersive experiences, visual installations, and multimedia productions.
